Description
gTLD OBJECTION FORM STRING CONFUSION OBJECTION. The gTLD OBJECTION FORM STRING CONFUSION OBJECTION is a type of objection that can be raised during the new generic top-level domain (gTLD) program launched by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). This objection is based on the argument that a proposed gTLD string is confusingly similar to an existing TLD or to another applied-for gTLD string. The objection can be raised by any party that has standing to object to a gTLD application. The gTLD OBJECTION FORM STRING CONFUSION OBJECTION is designed to protect the interests of existing TLD operators and prevent confusion among Internet users that could result from the introduction of new gTLDs that are similar to existing TLDs. The objection process is administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), which is a division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). www.FormsWorkflow.com
