Invitation To Request Rectification {PCT-ISA-216}

PCT/ISA/216, INVITATION TO REQUEST RECTIFICATION (PCT Rules 91.1(h) and 91.2). This form is an invitation issued by the International Searching Authority (ISA) under Rules 91.1(h) and 91.2 of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). The invitation is sent to the applicant of an international patent application and invites them to request the rectification of certain errors in their application. Rule 91.1(h) of the PCT states that the ISA may invite the applicant to request the rectification of any errors in the international application that are apparent from the international search report. Similarly, Rule 91.2 states that the ISA may invite the applicant to request the rectification of any errors in the application that are apparent from the written opinion of the International Preliminary Examining Authority (IPEA).
