Description
2024 MANDATORY REPORT OF PRO BONO RPC 6.1 REPORTING PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2023 – DECEMBER 31, 2023. This is a form that requires members of the State Bar of Nevada, whether active or inactive, to report their pro bono activities for the reporting period from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. The form has options for attorneys to indicate whether they provided pro bono services or donated money in lieu of providing pro bono services. Attorneys who provided pro bono services must specify the number of hours spent on direct legal services for no fee to low-income clients, as well as which organizations they worked with (such as Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Volunteer Attorneys for Rural Nevadans, etc.). They also have the option to report any contributions of money to organizations that provide pro bono services. In addition, attorneys can report the number of hours they provided legal services at a substantially reduced fee, services to organizations that address the needs of persons of limited means, and activities aimed at improving the law or law-related education. The form includes an optional section where attorneys can provide demographic information about the size of their firm/office and express their willingness to support the ONE Campaign by accepting one pro bono case. Finally, the attorney must sign and date the form to certify that the disclosures are true and complete. The completed form should be returned to the State Bar of Nevada. www.FormsWorkflow.com
