FORM 3 - REQUEST FOR SETTING. This form is used in North Carolina to request the court to schedule a specific event in a case, such as a pre-trial conference, motion, temporary hearing, status conference, order to show cause, or trial. The party requesting the setting must specify the purpose of the request, provide the requested date(s), and describe the matters to be considered during the scheduled event. The form also requires certification that a copy has been served on all relevant parties, such as the plaintiff, defendant, and their attorneys.
