Description
Form SM-7 - SMALL CLAIMS SUMMONS. This form is used in Alabama's District Courts to notify a defendant that a lawsuit has been filed against them in a small claims case. It informs the defendant about the need to respond to the Statement of Claim within 14 days, either admitting or denying the allegations. Failure to respond may lead to a default judgment. The form also provides instructions for serving the summons and complaint, either through personal delivery, certified mail, or by an authorized process server.
