AOC-E-100 - PETITION AND ASSIGNMENT YEAR’S ALLOWANCE (For Decedents Dying On Or After March 1, 2024). This North Carolina form is a petition to request a year’s allowance from the estate of a deceased person to support a surviving spouse and/or minor children. It allows the petitioner to seek $60,000 for a spouse and $10,000 for each eligible child to cover living expenses for a year.
