Unsecured Bond {CR-225}

CR-225 - UNSECURED BOND AGREEMENT. This form is used in Alaska district or superior courts to establish the terms of a defendant's unsecured bond in a criminal case. This form serves as a promise by the defendant to either appear in court for all required hearings (Appearance Bond) or comply with all conditions of release (Performance Bond) without providing upfront collateral. By signing this agreement, the defendant acknowledges that the bond remains in effect until canceled by the court. If they fail to comply with its conditions, the court may issue a judgment for the bond amount, plus costs and interest, which could lead to property seizure to satisfy the judgment. The defendant is also responsible for notifying the court of any changes to their contact information using court form TF-955. The form includes spaces for the defendant’s personal details, such as name, date of birth, contact information, and case identifiers (APSIN, ATN, and DL/ID).
