Description
PFC-61 - Request For New Child Custody Recommending Counselor (CCRC). This form is used in the Superior Court of California, County of Fresno, to formally request a change in the Family Court Services (FCS) counselor assigned to a family court case. A request for a new FCS Counselor must set out the specific reasons the request is being made. Pursuant to the Superior Court of Fresno County, Local Rule, rule 5.5.6(D)(1). The form is intended for cases where a party believes a conflict of interest exists with the current counselor, such as prior knowledge of the parties, financial interests, family relation within the third degree, or a lack of impartiality. The request must outline specific reasons and be provided to the opposing party. This form allows FCS to review and consider the change, but it does not impact court-ordered custody or visitation plans, as only a judge can modify those. www.FormsWorkflow.com
