TM 2 - APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF REGISTRATION OF A TRADEMARK OR SERVICE MARK. This form is used to renew the registration of a trademark or service mark with the Commonwealth of Virginia's State Corporation Commission, Division of Securities and Retail Franchising. It ensures that the owner retains legal rights to the mark for continued use in Virginia. The form requires the applicant to provide details such as the owner’s name, contact information, entity type, date of original registration, classification of goods or services, and a specimen showing current use of the mark. If the owner's name has changed, additional forms may be required, such as a Certificate of Name Change (Form TM3) or an Application for Assignment. A $30 non-refundable renewal fee per class must accompany the application, payable to the Treasurer of Virginia.
