Description
OWNER’S CLAIM FOR MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SURPLUS. This form is used in Santa Rosa County, Florida, to claim any surplus funds resulting from the foreclosure sale of a property. When a property is foreclosed, the sale may generate more money than what is owed on the mortgage. The owner of the property may be entitled to these surplus funds. This form allows the previous property owner to certify under penalty of perjury that they are the rightful owner of the property, do not owe any additional money on the mortgage other than what was foreclosed, and are not in bankruptcy. The form also requires the claimant to provide a current mailing address and indicates whether multiple owners are entitled to the surplus. The claimant affirms they are not required to have legal representation or assign their rights to someone else in order to claim the funds. www.FormsWorkflow.com
