Your failure to appear at the contempt hearing may result in the issuance of an arrest warrant. b. You have a right to counsel and that, if ybelieve you ou are indigent, you must apply for a public defender within three (3) business days after receipt of this Order. Application for a public defender must be made, in person, at the Domestic Relations Court, located at 47 North Park Place, Painesville, Ohio, 44077, between the hours of 8:00 a. m. and 4:30 p.m. c. The Court may refuse to grant a continuance at the time of the hearing for the purpose of you obtaining counsel, if you fail to make a good faith effort to retain counsel or to obtain a public defender. If you are found guilty of contempt, you could be sentenced to: 1. For a first offense, a fine of not more than Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00), a definite term of imprisonment of not more than thirty (30) days, or both; 2. For a second offense, a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), a definite term of imprisonment of not more than sixty (60) days, or both; or 3. For a third offense, a fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), a definite term of imprisonment of not more than ninety (90) days in jail, or both.
