M-23A, ORDER RE APPEAL IN FORMA PAUPERIS FROM JUDGMENT RENDERED BY A MAGISTRATE JUDGE IN A CRIMINAL CASE: CVB/CITATION NUMBER, IT IS ORDERED that the Motion to Appeal In Forma Pauperis, after consideration by the Court, is GRANTED. The within moving party is authorized to prosecute an appeal in forma pauperis to the United States District Court without prepayment of any fees or costs and without giving security therefore. A transcript is needed to decide the issue presented by the proposed appeal, all within the meaning of 28 USC 753(f). If proceedings were recorded digitally or on audio tape, the Clerk's Office is directed to obtain and file an original and one copy of the transcript(s) of all proceedings had in this Court in this cause. If proceedings were reported by a Court Reporter, the Court Reporter is directed to prepare and file with the Clerk of this Court an original and one copy of the transcript(s) of plea, trial and sentencing proceedings had in this Court, in this cause within 30 days. The appellant is advised that a copy of the transcript will be made available to him/her. The expense of such transcript shall be paid by the United States pursuant to 28 USC 1915(c) and 753(f).
