Description

PRO SE SCHEDULING NOTIFICATION (NON - AGENCY CASE). This form is used by a pro se appellant (a person representing themselves without an attorney) in a non-agency case in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to notify the court of their requested filing deadline for their brief and appendix. The appellant provides their case title, docket number, name, address, phone number, the relevant district court, and district/agency number. The appellant proposes a filing date for their brief and appendix that is within 91 days of receiving the last transcript or, if no transcript is ordered, within 91 days of the required filing date of Form D-P with the Court. The form warns that failure to submit this proposal will result in the court setting a 40-day deadline for filing the brief, and non-compliance may lead to dismissal of the case. It also notes that extensions will only be granted in extraordinary circumstances. www.FormsWorkflow.com
