North Carolina Disaster (Mediation Request Form)

MEDIATION REQUEST FORM. This form is used to request mediation services from the AAA for eligible residential property damage claims arising out of declared disasters in North Carolina. To be eligible for the program, the dispute must involve at least $1,500, and the claim must not be denied due to policy exclusions, policy terms/provisions, or policy not being in effect on the date of loss. The program does not apply to commercial insurance, private passenger motor vehicle insurance, or National Flood Insurance Program flood policies. If both parties agree to mediate a smaller claim, it may also be eligible for the program.
