Description

CCSD 0007 - NOTICE OF REGISTRATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ORDER. This is a notice of registration of an administrative support order in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. The order was issued by the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (IDHFS) and is being registered with the court pursuant to the Public Aid Code. The notice informs the Respondent that the registered administrative support order is enforceable as of the date of registration in the same manner as an order of support issued by the court. The notice also states that if the Respondent fails to contest the enforcement of the order within 30 days of being served with the notice of registration, they will be prohibited from contesting any issue that might have been contested. The notice lists the amount of arrearage owed and the deadline to contest the enforcement of the order. The attached documents include a certified copy of the order, any voluntary acknowledgment of paternity for the child or children covered by the order, and the documents showing service of the support obligation that established the order. The notice also informs the Respondent of the defenses they can raise if they contest the enforcement of the order. These defenses include lack of personal jurisdiction over the contesting party, fraud in obtaining the administrative order, vacation, suspension, or modification of the administrative order by a later order, full or partial payment of the amounts claimed, or another defense under the law to the remedy sought. www.FormsWorkflow.com
