JC 05b - ORDER TO TAKE CHILD(REN) INTO PROTECTIVE CUSTODY AND PLACE (CHILD PROTECTIVE PROCEEDINGS). This form is used in child protective proceedings in the State of Michigan in urgent situations when there is reasonable cause to believe that the child(ren) is/are at substantial risk of harm or imminent danger and immediate removal from their current surroundings is necessary to protect their health and safety. It is also used when the child(ren) has/have already been removed from the parent(s), guardian, or legal custodian and are absent without leave from court-ordered placement.
