UJS–140 - INITIAL INVENTORY. This form is used to provide an initial inventory of the real and personal property of a minor or protected person under a conservatorship or guardianship in South Dakota. The conservator, who has been appointed to manage the individual's affairs, must list the individual's assets and their estimated values, along with any debts or liens. The initial inventory must be filed with the court within ninety days of the conservator's appointment and requires a copy to be mailed to certain parties involved in the case.
