Description

DV-132 - REQUEST TO EXTEND LONG-TERM PROTECTIVE ORDERS (MULTIPLE PETITIONERS). Use this form if you want to extend existing domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking protective orders. You may also ask to modify (change) your existing protective orders with this form. File this form within 30 days before or within 60 days after your current long-term orders expire. If more than 60 days have passed since your orders expired, you must file a new petition for protective orders instead of using this form. The court will set a hearing with at least 10 days’ notice to all parties and will decide whether an extension is necessary to protect you. This request, by itself, does not extend the protective orders. If your current orders expire before the hearing, there will not be protective orders in place until the court extends them in writing at the hearing, or until you request new orders based on a new domestic violence petition and incident. If you fail to appear for a hearing about this request, the judge may deny your request. Civ. R. 65.1, AS 18.66.100-.990; 18.65.850-.870. www.FormsWorkflow.com
