Defendant's Response to Complaint. Defendant will have twenty (20) days after the date of the Pretrial Conference to serve its response to Plaintiff's complaint. 2. Discovery Served with Complaint (if any). Defendant will have thirty (30) days after the date of the Pretrial Conference to serve its response(s) to any discovery served by Plaintiff on Defendant contemporaneous with Plaintiff's complaint. 3. Application of Florida rules of Civil Procedure. All Rules of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure shall apply in this case. 4. Mediation. The parties are to mediate this case by no later than thirty (30) days after the date of the filing of a Notice of Trial. The Mediation Conference shall be conducted pursuant to Chapter 44, Florida Statutes and Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.750. All parties, or their designated representative possessing full authority to settle without further consultation, are required to attend the Mediation Conference. The Mediation Conference shall be conducted by a mediator certified by the state and appointed by the American LegalNet, Inc. www.FormsWorkFlow.com Hillsborough County Civil Diversion Program. Any party's failure to comply with the terms of this Order may result in involuntary dismissal, default final judgment or other appropriate sanctions including, without limitation, a monetary assessment as provided by the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
