Description
SC-6033 - ORDER APPOINTING COUNSEL FOR CONSERVATEE. This form is used by the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Barbara, to officially appoint legal counsel for a proposed conservatee or conservatee. The court appoints an attorney to represent the conservatee, especially in cases involving the establishment or modification of a conservatorship, dementia powers, or other legal capacity issues under the Probate Code. The appointment is meant to ensure the conservatee's interests are protected, particularly when the conservatee is not already represented or cannot retain counsel. The court may also direct the appointed counsel to submit a written report and requires all counsel to meet and confer within 48 hours of the appointment. The appointment remains in effect until discharged by the court. www.FormsWorkflow.com
