DLC 4171_D-7 - APPLICATION FOR NEW D-7 ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE PERMIT WITHIN A RESORT AREA. D-7 Permits are issued to the holder of any D-2 permits, or if there is an insufficient number of D-2 permit holders to fill the resort quota, to the operator of a retail food establishment or a food service operation required to be licensed under R.C Chapter 3717 that operates as a restaurant and qualifies under the other requirements, to sell beer and any intoxicating liquor at retail, only by the individual drink in glass and from the container, for consumption on the premises where sold. Not less than 50% of the business on the permit premises shall be preparing and serving meals for a consideration in order to qualify for and continue to hold such D-7 permit. The permit premises shall be located in a resort area as defined under Ohio law. A resort season shall begin on the first day of May and end on the last day of October.
