Description

ABL-10 - NOTICE OF APPLICATION/LAW ENFORCEMENT PROTEST. This form is used by the South Carolina Department of Revenue (DOR) to notify law enforcement about a new application for a license to sell alcoholic beverages. Law enforcement officials must complete and return the form to indicate if they have any objections to the proposed location being licensed. The form asks if the location has had problems with public intoxication, police activity, loitering, or if the applicant has a reputation for maintaining peace and order. If law enforcement officials wish to protest the application, they must provide specific reasons and indicate whether they will attend a contested case hearing before the Administrative Law Court. The form must be returned within 15 days from the date the proposed location was posted or from the last date to protest as sworn in the Notice of Advertisement in the newspaper. Failure to attend the hearing, if indicated, may result in fines or penalties. www.FormsWorkflow.com
