L- 2543 - ELDER OR DEPENDENT ADULT ABUSE MEDIATED SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT (THIS IS NOT A RESTRAINING ORDER). This form is used in the Superior Court of California, County of Orange and includes the names of the petitioner and respondent, their attorneys, and any other appearances. The parties stipulate and agree to certain terms, The case shall be taken off calendar, and if the settlement is breached, then any document regarding the breach will be filed under the same case number. If the respondent does not comply with this stipulation, petitioner may file a Declaration of Non-Compliance and a new Notice of Court Hearing (EA109) and Temporary Restraining Order (EA110), which will need to be personally served on the respondent. The stipulation includes provisions for the respondent to stay a certain distance away from the petitioner and certain other named individuals, and to have no contact with certain other named individuals. The form includes space for the parties, their attorneys, and a guardian ad litem to sign, and includes a statement that the parties acknowledge the terms of the settlement agreement and that failure to comply with the agreement may result in contempt of court.
