PCT/RO/101, REQUEST. International applications must be filed using the PCT request form (PCT/RO/101) or a corresponding computer printout. This text outlines several requirements for submitting a request for an international patent application: (a) The request must be made on a standardized form, PCT/RO/101. (b) The Check List section of the form should indicate all documents accompanying the international application when it is filed. (c) All required information, such as addresses, state names, and dates, must be provided in the request, in accordance with PCT Rule 4 and Administrative Instructions 110 and 201. (d) To designate the United States of America, the international application must include the name of the inventor and a reference to any prior national or international application filed in the US, if claiming the benefit of the filing date for that application.
