ADR-01 - REQUEST: ADR PROCEDURE SELECTION. The ADR Procedure Selection form is used in the United States District Court for the Central District of California to request approval for the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedure that the parties involved in a case wish to pursue. Under Local Rule 16-15, the parties select one of the available ADR procedures for resolving their dispute, either by settlement conferences or other methods facilitated by the court or an external neutral party. The options on the form include: ADR Procedure No. 1: The parties shall appear before the magistrate judge assigned to the case or any active magistrate judge. for such settlement proceedings as the judge may conduct or direct. ADR Procedure No. 2: The parties shall appear before a neutral selected from the Court’s Mediation Panel.
